Our donation is hope for widows in Kenya

P.O.W.E.R is a registered non-governmental organization with the Kenyan government under the N.G.O Coordination Bureau of the office of the president. The NGO was formed in the year 2005 by the chairlady, Mrs. Mabel Shimanyula Andega who partnered with willing individuals that joined together to form the organization. POWER was started with the aim of helping the poor widows and their families out of their dejected and unfortunate situations.

POWER aims to provide basic needs by ensuring the involved local communities have access to the basic necessities of life; food, clean water, proper housing and healthcare through local and international donors. The funds shall be utilized in ensuring that these needs are met and provide adequate knowledge in addressing the issue of HIV/AIDS in our targeted areas through appropriate care and treatment and by educating the communities on how to handle societal challenges such as stigmatization and discrimination. POWER will ensure that the plights faced by widows and their families are resolved successfully.
